The Fraunhofer IWM in Halle concentrates on the automotive electronics, microelectronics, microsystems technology, photovoltaics, polymer processing and aircraft industries.
The Fraunhofer Center for Silicon Photovoltaics CSP has been named a “Site of Excellence in the Land of Ideas” and is involved in a series of lectures entitled “365 Locations in the Land of Ideas “ which is carried out as part of the “Germany – Land of Ideas“ initiative with support from the Deutsche Bank.
