The Fraunhofer Center for Silicon Photovoltaics CSP is the only center of its kind worldwide that analyzes the topics of crystallization and materials and carries out research and development into silicon materials.

The CSP combines the competencies of the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE.
